New Jersey offers families many different alternatives to a litigated divorce strictly through the court system (often referred to as "Alternate Dispute Resolution”).
If you’re in need of mediation services, the attorneys at Martin & Tune are trained and ready to help your family either in the role of mediator or as your attorney for a private out-of-court mediation (see our Biographies Page to see the training and experience of our attorneys).
Mediation is an alternative used outside of the courts that encourages spouses to speak with each other. Mediation is private and confidential, and the process is geared toward helping both parties gain a shared understanding of the dispute. Both Parties are encouraged to work together, and with the mediator, to find a practical, fair, and lasting agreement, for their family, rather than trusting their fates to a stranger in a black robe.
